Credit Control role in Watford at £25-27000

Your new company
A successful medium sized wholesale business are seeking a new member to their finance team. This is a brilliant time to join as this is the first time this role is being filled in a sole charge capacity. Whoever joins will be able to streamline and improve procedures and really make the role their own.

Your new role :
Some of the duties are listed below, however this is not an exhaustive list and being a small but growing business there will be an element of cross working with colleagues and an expectation to help cover in busy periods. Thereby hopefully offering more of a challenge and scope to what you can learn.

• Dealing with credit checking
• Chasing debts by telephone and letter
• Allocating payments
• Raising invoices and credit notes
• Account reconciliation
• Resolve queries
• Improving procedures and aim to reduce debtor days

What you'll need to succeed
You will need previous experience in Credit Control, be very results driven. Have a good eye for detail and strong organisational experience. Good IT skills including Excel. This is a lovely role in a great business and will suit someone looking for a long term career. Offices are open and airy and there is plenty of parking.

What you'll get in return
An 8.30 - 5.15 day with a 30 minute lunch break. There is plenty of parking. 20 days holiday plus bank holidays. This is a fun environment with a friendly team
