We are looking for a Management Accountant to join our busy finance team. Reporting to our Head of Finance.

What will you do

• Assist in the preparation of Monthly management accounts including assisting in detailed analysis of overhead spends

• Reviewing and payment of monthly supplier invoices

• Assisting the preparation and Reviewing twice weekly payments schedule for 1000 teachers

• Preparing and Processing weekly payments schedule for our Construction Contractors

• Liaising with consultants, teachers, schools and umbrella companies

• Weekly Bank Reconciliations

• Weekly Sales invoicing

• HMRC on-shore intermediary reporting

• Assisting the senior credit controller by undertaking weekly credit control

• Inputting overseas accounting and preparing monthly overseas accounts

• Loading and analysis of monthly employee expenses

• Setting up of weekly payments

• Weekly Sales reporting

• Assisting with Bank Audits and End of Year Audits

• Other Ad-Hoc duties as required
  
  

Skills, Experience & Qualifications:

* You must be a confident user of excel.
* Either started or looking to start a professional accounting qualification which Engage would pay for and provide study support
* Professional outlook and demeanor
* A good level of initiative and innovative thinking to identify and solve problems.
* Very good communication skills are required as the role will be working closely with all levels of management
* A can do attitude and a willingness to learn
