Analyst job for a listed group based close to Dorking

Your new company
You will be joining a highly acquisitive multi-site business based close to Dorking, Surrey. The company has experienced strong growth through in recent years and they are looking to develop into a number of key markets in the next 3-5 years.

Your new role
As part of a small team and working with the Board of Directors, you will be supporting strategic growth plans by identifying and analysing potential business acquisitions to complement its existing brands. This is a broad role that will cover the analysis of company financials, picking out risks and opportunities; market research at regional, national and International level and competitive analysis - monitoring performance in existing and new markets. You will also be heavily involved throughout the due diligence process through to sale completion and integration. This is an exciting and rare opportunity to utilise your finance skills in a slightly different way and contribute to an already highly successful business.

What you'll need to succeed
In addition to having strong analytical finance skills, you should be a confident communicator, have strong attention to detail, an aptitude for spotting new commercial opportunities as well as proactive and "team centric" approach. IT skills are essential, particularly PowerPoint and Excel. Scandinavian, German or French language skills would be highly advantageous. A finance qualification (ACA/ACCA/CIMA/equivalent) would also be advantageous but if you are part-qualified or qualified by experience, please get in touch with me to find out more.
