An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic and self-motivated, individual to join our company's Credit Control department in Bristol office. This is a full time, permanent position. As part of the Finance Team, your role is to liaise with the insurance companies to ensure that invoices have been received and to determine whether there are any problems within this process, dealing with any problems that arise ensuring that the same problem does not occur again. You will work closely with the bodyshop teams to ensure that the information provided for invoicing is accurate, keeping records of all correspondence, telephone conversations and actions relating to promises to pay, and follow up as appropriate. As Credit Controller you will bring to the attention of the Billing / Credit Control Manager monies difficult to recover and highlighting alongside the manager any matters relating to litigation or debt recovery agencies. Its important that all customer care standards are maintained and that a tactful, sensitive approach is adopted when dealing with customers and well as being aware of and adhering to all Health and Safety regulations and policies applicable to your position and working environment.
Another very important aspect of the job is teamwork as you will be working with other colleagues in different bodyshops as well as across other functional areas.
As a Credit Controller we would like you to have an interest and passion in what we do. With a professional appearance we would also appreciate it if you are a team player and are self-motivated with sound work ethic. You will have excellent communication skills written and verbal with strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure. Previous experience within Credit Control and excellent time-management skills are essential, as is experience working with Microsoft Office especially Excel and Outlook.
