Financial Controller

SF Group are currently recruiting for a commercial Financial Controller to join a bright and engaging team in a truly unique organisation. This commercial Financial Controller role is newly created and will support a head of finance and CFO in the following duties;

• Supervise the production of management accounts for 2 companies across multiple countries
• Supporting the production of the year end statutory financial statements
• Ensure compliance with group accounting policies
• Production of VAT returns both UK and Irish
• Maintaining balance sheet integrity

Then the role has less routine commercially driven tasks that will include:

• Provide support for acquisition of businesses
• Provide commercial analysis and business cases
• Work on projects to drive business change and drive efficiencies
• Mentor and develop junior members of the team
