Sellick Partnership are currently recruiting for a Band 7 Divisional Accountant to join a fantastic NHS organisation in the South Yorkshire Area. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the successful candidate will be responsible for the effective working of a small management accounting team providing financial support to a number of designated divisions.

Key duties of the Divisional Accountant:

* To lead in the preparation of timely and accurate budget & expenditure reports
* Responsible for ensuring team member(s) complete their relevant work in accordance to the monthly timetable and to a high standard
* Ensure that all income due to the divisions are appropriately reflected at the month end
* Responsible for the accurate reporting
* Meet with the Associate Directors and Budget Managers to discuss monthly financial performance
* Attend monthly Divisional Board Meetings and Divisional Management Team meetings as required by the Associate Directors
* Provide financial support to divisions during the financial planning process
* Support the divisions in their annual capacity planning exercise.
* Contribute to the Trust’s internal financial planning process
* To provide ad-hoc costing’s to managers as required, this includes costing of services to be included in bids to Commissioners for additional funding. To develop systems to facilitate such costing’s on a consistent basis and to present this information to non-finance managers in a professional and user friendly manner customised to their own needs. To support Associate Directors at Commissioning meetings where required.

The successful candidate will:

* Be Fully qualified
* Have staff management experience
* Come from an NHS background – although not essential
