Lloyd Barnes are pleased to be working exclusively on the recruitment of a UK Financial Controller with a forward thinking manufacturing company. Based in Devon, this is the site number one position within the UK. Reporting to the Group CFO/UK CEO your duties and responsibilities will include:
- Full management of the finance department
- Preparation of management and year-end accounts
- Preparation of ancillary accounts working papers, including monthly stock valuation, cost of sales, prepayments, accruals etc.
- Organisation and preparation of budgets and forecasts
- Cash management and forecasting
- All taxation matters with the assistance of the external accountants
- All matters relating to the pension scheme
- System and process changes/implementation
The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, ideally with experience of working in a manufacturing/engineering environment. You will have proven leadership skills as well as strong systems/costing knowledge. Please forward your details ASAP.
