I am working with a blue chip business in Stockport to recruit a part qualified Finance Analyst for a newly created role. The role will support the Business Analyst to provide financial reporting and analysis and MI to the digital and IT teams.
Duties
Supporting the financial accounts team in the production of the IT management accounts.
Assisting in the consolidation of accounting reports and commentary to produce accurate and informative monthly management accounts and commentary
Supporting budgeting, forecasting and Business case processes
Assisting in the review, monitoring and control of project expenditure and operational expenditure to ensure spend is properly accounted for and reported
Communicating with Project managers and Finance teams across the Group to obtain information and to provide validated explanation of results or variances
Applicants Should Demonstrate:
Have a minimum of 12 months relevant experience working in an accounts environment.
Ideally possess or be studying for a relevant professional qualification
Possess excellent Excel skills.
Be able to demonstrate well-developed planning & organising abilities
Be able to demonstrate a high level of attention to detail
Have the ability to work under pressure and to work to demanding deadlines
There may be the occasional requirement to travel to London for meetings
