Location: Home based, covering the Glasgow to Edinburgh/Perth area

Excellent opportunity for an experienced Loss Adjuster to join this expanding insurance organisation.

The Role:

You will be responsible for handling a case load of domestic and commercial claims for mainly insurer clients, roughly 80% domestic and 20% commercial. Claims will be handled on a cradle to grave and investigation/report only basis and will vary in value, but will generally be up to £100,000. You will also have the authority to retain the claim if you feel it should be handled cradle to grave. You will be given between 20-25 new instructions a month and your caseload will be between 25-45 at any one time. This is a home based role and your region will be between Glasgow to Perth/Edinburgh, although there is an element of flexibility.

The Candidate:

To apply for this role, it is essential you have property loss adjusting experience. You will have a good domestic background and if you have dealt with some commercial cases too, this would be preferred, but not essential. You will have the ability to manage your own diary, making appointments and ensuring your work is carried out within set time frames. You will be organised, with strong communication skills and a hard working ethic. Ideally you will be Cert CILA qualified or more, although this isn’t essential.
