Group Financial Accountant | Cheshire | £55k + Car + Bonus | Excellent Career Progression|
Axon Moore are representing a brand name market leader that has gone through extensive change in the previous 12 months. As a result of this there is a vacancy within the Group Finance function for an ambitious Group Financial Accountant.
This role reports directly into the Group FC and offers a great opportunity for someone looking to expedite their career to Group FC/FD within the next 5 years. It offers unrivalled exposure in the North West market to play a key part in a complex group finance function.
You will be responsible for the year end group consolidation of a large, multi-currency group that is acquiring businesses at pace. You will get unrivalled opportunity to develop your technical accounting knowledge as well as developing a skillset that will fast track your career to group FC/FD in a big business.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Assist the Group FC with the preparation of the YE Group Consolidation
• Production of month end consolidated management reports
• Balance sheet analysis and KPI monitoring
• Support the group FC with technical accounting treatment of acquisitions, minority interests, share based payments, derivatives, complex debt instruments and other areas
• Production and monitoring of group cash flow
• Produce technical accounting papers to support audit findings
• Provision of information to auditors
• Production of group budgets and forecasts
• Production of Group Statutory accounts
• Assist the group FC with ad-hoc tasks
The ideal candidate will be:
• ACA/ACCA Qualified with 2-5 years PQE
• Experienced in Group Finance in a large business
• Up to date with the latest developments of IFRS
• Ambitious and keen to progress in their career
