Financial Analyst

My client situated on the outskirts of Folkestone is currently looking to recruit a Financial Analyst to provide regular meaningful reports to both the finance function and wider business. This is a newly created position which and will require the successful candidate to bring new ideas to improve processes.

Key tasks include but limited to:

§Prepare regular, meaningful reports
§Analysing and manipulating large data sets.
§Perform monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position/budget variance analysis as required.
§Analyse data ensuring proper accounting procedures have been followed and a robust audit trail is maintained.
§Prepare financial reports for the CFO and board members through charts, excel and other reporting tools
§Maintain and develop various financial models and standard templates distributed for use by all of Finance ensuring quality, accuracy and focused analytic review
§Demonstrate appropriate understanding / working knowledge of accounting principles and internal controls, and apply them
