Salary: Up to £25,000 (depending on experience) + pension + benefits

Our client are a International Infrastructure business who work closely with local authorities and renewal energy business' and support strategic decision making across the entire lifecycle of their asset portfolios. Their mission is to achieve innovative asset management solutions in the built environment by increasing efficiency and minimising risk for our customers.

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Accounts Assistant to join the team based in Central London.

You will support the Accounting team - Portfolio in their responsibilities of managing assigned Project Portfolios. This will mainly include the maintenance of financial records, processing of payments, raising of invoices and general administrative duties relating to Project support.

We are interested in speaking to candidates who have experience within a similar accounts/finance role, or candidates currently completing an accountancy degree/qualification.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Process cash book entries and invoices into the accounting system and update invoice trackers as appropriate.
• Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.
• Prepare sales invoices for review by the Management Accountant, incorporating changes as instructed.
• Manage the purchase invoices approval process.
• Prepare a summary of recommended payments, instructed payments from the Finance Manager and necessary bank instructions, for review by the Management Accountant.

Experience/Qualifications:

• Experience working within a accountancy based role- essential
• A demonstrated high level of IT skills, particularly in accounting systems and Microsoft- desirable
• AAT Level 3 qualification (or higher/equivalent)- desirable
• A real team player
• Demonstrable attention to detail and ability to apply a methodology for ensuring high level of accuracy
