JOB TITLE: Accounts Assistant

SALARY & BENEFITS: Circa £18,000

WORKING HOURS: Full time

THE ROLE: The Accounts Assistant role would be based at the head office in Mansfield where you will join a small team, working alongside the Management Accountant and Office Manager. Working within a small team you will become a key member of team, assisting colleagues as and when needed. The difference with this role is that you will be working for a company who are passionate about the care they offer and the difference they make in peoples lives, you will become a part of that.

Overall responsibility for the whole purchase ledger process -

Processing PL invoices (coding, posting, authority process, filing)
Credit Control / Statement Recs
Ledger Reconciliation
Production of pay runs
Posting payments

Vehicle administration & Procurement

Point of contact in office for homes with regards to vehicle issues
Overseeing the administration of the MOT / Service / RFL for vehicles
Ordering some items for the homes – stationery / CoSHH
Overs seeing the Daily Books, administering to homes and requesting re-print when necessary
Other Accounts Assistant duties -

Responsible for HO and home archiving
On-going month end reconciliation's

Adhoc –

Assistance with preparation for annual Audit
Any other finance duties to help where busy, flexibility required
Answering phone and general office duties

THE CANDIDATE: The ideal candidate for the Accounts Assistant role will have a minimum of 1 years experience in a finance based role. You will also have purchase ledger experience and have good overall IT skills. Any qualifications in finance would be an advantage.

Minimum of 1 years experience in a finance based role

Good overall IT skills
Live within a commutable distance of Mansfield
Driving licence and own car an advantage
