Assistant Accountant - Leeds - to £25,000 + Bens + Bonus (potentially with study support too)
Assistant Accountant is required for my expanding East Leeds based client.
The Assistant Accountant will work closely with the Financial Controller and assist with the day to day duties of the finance team.
Key duties of the role include;
Assist with month-end duties
Assist with year-end audits
Maintain accruals and prepayments
Posting of journals
Reconciliation of all bank and invoice finance accounts
Maintain fixed asset register
Maintain purchase ledger
Process expenses
The role could suit someone who is happy to operate at this level for the foreseeable future. However, there may be the opportunity of study support and so the client will consider candidates who are looking to develop and progress in line with company expansion. Study support would only be considered after a period of time with the organisation, it would not be offered from the outset.
