Financial Controller

Our client, a rapidly growing business with offices in Watford are looking for an ambitious Financial Controller to join their team. The role, reporting to the CFO will play a critical role in the business and the ideal candidate will need to have had at least 2 years' experience in a similar role.

Key Responsibilities:
-Prepare monthly accounts, analysis against budget and prior year, and commentary
-Reconcile multi-currency bank accounts and prepare cash flow
-Maintain robust financial controls through management of purchase ledger activity including purchase requests, monitor cost against budget and reconcile cost of sales
-Monitor sales invoice processing and matched costs are accurate and in line with accounting policies
-Oversee monthly balance sheet reconciliations and provide support as required
-Manage open sales and purchase orders and prepare forecast ensuring consistency between systems.
-Analyse contract profitability and provide support for the renewals process
-Be responsible for the internal recharge process and assist with project analysis
-Manage the external audit process across all group companies, ensuring adherence to group standards of reporting including tax
-Ensure data integrity through rigorous monitoring of transactions
-Be involved with the continual development of internal controls and processes

This role would suit a qualified accountant with 2-5 years PQE in a similar role, keen to develop their career in a highly growth driven, commercial environment.
