Operations Manager

My client are recruiting for an Operations Manager to join their exisiting and reputable team.

My client are a well-established Wealth Management firm based in Warwickshire. They provide a bespoke service to all clients, tailoring financial solutions to their needs and objectives.

Your responsibilities will include:

-Oversee the recruitment of new staff, including training and induction
-Delegate work to staff and managing their workload and output
-In liaison with the compliance officer, maintain compliance with current legislation by review of existing procedures on a regular basis
-Maintain training programme of new and current staff
-Carry out staff appraisals, managing performance and disciplining staff
-Promote staff development and training for all admin staff and maintain compliant level of knowledge
-Managing filing systems
-Help in the completion of Gabriel return
-Use a range of office software, including email, spreadsheets and databases

Experience you need:

-Previously have worked in a similar role with either an IFA or a financial institution, with ability to show evidence of this
-Flexibility and adaptability to changing workload and ability to work on your own initiative
-People management skills
-Attention to detail
-The capacity to prioritise tasks and work under pressure
-Ability to liaise well with others and delegate tasks
-Ideally level 4 qualified and financial services related product knowledge and from a para-planning background
-Problem-solving skills and project management ability
-Strong oral and written communication skills as well as excellent organisational and time management skills
-Good IT skills, including knowledge of a range of software packages
