Boxtree Recruitment are currently looking for a Property Manager specialising in Residential Block.

If you have experience in Leasehold Block property management then Boxtree would like to speak with you.

You will be responsible for the day to day management of a portfolio of properties across East London. To carry out all regular and routine property management tasks including inspections, resident and client meetings, setting and managing scheme budgets, liaising with contractors and suppliers. To provide a highly responsive service to clients and customers on a daily basis and support the team in identifying and negotiating new business. The post holder will also be required to be on call outside of working hours on a rota basis.

Experience and knowledge

  • At least 2 years as a Property Manager (if qualified, or 3 years if not qualified)
  • Leasehold experience is necessary for the role
  • Detailed knowledge of the construction, accounting and management of service charges
  • Excellent knowledge of legislation, policy and best practice relating to service charges and leasehold management
  • Experience of carrying out s20 consultation for major works and or long-term services
  • Experience of arranging and attending AGM
  • Experience of Residential Block management of prestigious developments
  • Experience of managing private rented properties
  • Experience of using software for producing reports and statistics
  • Experience of identifying, vetting and instructing contractors

Key Skills and Abilities

  • Outstanding organisational skills and the ability to prioritise workload and deliver to targets and deadlines.
  • Good IT skills including MS Office applications and the use of property management software
  • Familiar with Qube Property Management software

Other

  • Current driving licence and access to a car for business use
  • Able to attend evening / weekend meetings if required
