Management Accountant

We are recruiting exclusively for an experienced Management Accountant for a recognised Leicester company. This is a newly created role and our client is looking for someone who can progress within the business.

Duties:

• Monthly management account preparation
• Yearend audit analysis
• Bank reconciliation, posting and balancing
• Treasury management, ensuring all bank limits are adhered to
• Daily bank receipts postings and reporting to the CEO and FD
• Preparing and authorising payments, verifying transaction information, scheduling, and preparing disbursements, obtaining further authorisation where required
• Deployment and development of the group banking reconciliation solution
• Accruals & prepayments
• Provision of relevant MI
• Deputise for the Finance Manager in their absence

Person Specification

• Part qualified ACCA or CIMA
• Excellent excel skills
• Proactive individual focused on system and reporting improvements
• Experience in preparation of balance sheet accounts
