Finance Manager

Finance Manager - £150-200 a day - Suffolk

A Not-for-Profit organisation in Suffolk are looking for a qualified accountant to join them on a 3 month contract to oversee their financial systems and procedures.

You will be responsible for ensuring they meet their regulatory obligations and objectives by making sure internal controls are maintained, annual statutory accounts are produced in line with the Charities SORP, and annual statutory audits are completed promptly. You will also participate in the strategic leadership of the group and perform the role of Company Secretary and FCA Compliance.

Duties include:
Monitoring, reviewing, and developing financial control policies, procedures, and systems
Payroll and Pension administration
Maintenance of internal controls
Production of annual statutory accounts
Completion of annual statutory audits

You will have experience with accounting software and complex budgets and have experience in the charity sector.

We are also looking for people with the following:
Experience in charity accounting
Experience with Sage TAS
Understanding of charities SORP and legal and regulatory requirements
Experience of managing contracts
