Group Financial Accountant

Group Financial Accountant | Nottingham | £35,000-£45,000

Macildowie are delighted to be working with a well regarded business in Nottingham City Centre for the recruitment of a Group Financial Accountant, to work within the Financial Accounting and Reporting function of the Finance team, servicing a number of group companies in the UK.

Working on the production of core business monthly management accounts, you will be involved in all levels from managing transaction accounting and reconciliation, balance sheet management to preparation of operational and Executive Board reporting.

You will also lead the Accounting and Reporting team in the production of monthly P&L, balance sheet and funds flow reconciliation culminating in the production of a full monthly reporting suite for all Group companies, with the responsibility of reporting up to the parent company.

You will draw on your experience of excellent technical accounting skills in preparing reporting, to support stakeholder's, executive board and budget holders in their financial performance management. Interacting with senior level management and the leadership team.
