Paraplanner / Trainee Financial Adviser based in Somerset, competitive basic salary with good benefits
1. To be able to work alongside advisers in the provision and review of suitable investment propositions.
2. To construct and write suitability reports for all retail investment products.
3. To conduct periodic reviews of existing client portfolio’s, using appropriate software.
4. To have a working knowledge of Retail Investment Products.
5. To understand the application of personal taxation and how it applies to clients situations.
6. To understand investment, tax, trust, pensions and financial planning.
7. Liaising with Product Providers as appropriate.
8. To understand Investment accounts, ISAs, SIPPs, Personal Pensions and Investment Bonds.
9. To increase your knowledge through appropriate training to become a Financial Adviser.
10. Working towards attending joint meetings with clients and advisers and ultimately dealing with own clients.
