Gi Group are working on behalf of a Leeds based manufacturing company in the recruitment of a temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk. This is a wonderful temporary opportunity to join a global leader in the manufacturing of automotive lighting and electrical components - working in new and modern complex in Seacroft, East Leeds. Joining a small, expanding department, the role requires extensive purchase ledger knowledge. Initially for 3 months, the role has the possibility to continue for a longer duration if required.

Job Details:
Type: Temporary, 3 months initial duration
Hours: Days Monday to Friday 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm
Pay: £11.28 per hour
Location: Leeds/Seacroft area, LS14

Key Responsibilities:
* Opening new supplier accounts ensuring all information is correct
* Checking invoices against GRN's and PO's
* Batching, coding and inputting invoices onto the system
* Dealing with all queries
* Liaising with internal staff and suppliers to resolve issues quickly and effectively
* Reconciling supplier statements
* Processing payment runs
* Processing employee expense claims

Person Specification:
* Previous purchase ledger experience, preferably within a fast paced environment, is essential
* Excellent organisational skills
* Excellent telephone manner and customer service skills
* Ability to meet deadlines/targets and prioritise workload
* Proficient in MS Office applications, specifically Microsoft Excel
