£21,000 - £22,000 (pro rata for part time)

We are now looking for a Finance Administrator to join our passionate team on a full or part time basis.

As our new Finance Administrator, you will be responsible for processing financial transactions and maintaining accurate records to support data analysis.

Working proactively to support Finance Co-ordinators in the production of monthly finance reports and the provision of financial advice, you will help to produce management reports and information surrounding processed transactions.

Specifically, your role will involve:

- Processing authorised purchase orders, invoices, expenses and payments
- Dealing with validated sales orders, credits and cash transactions
- Supporting proactive credit control processes
- Assisting in processing contract claims
- Managing and resolving customer enquiries
- Reviewing financial, statistical and management reports

So, is this the role for you? If so, you will need:

- An understanding of financial systems and processing of transactions
- Good MS Excel skills and ability to develop and maintain spread sheets
- A good level of IT literacy, including word processing and the use of Microsoft programmes
- The ability to analyse data and produce clear reports for an intended audience
- The ability to implement effective credit control procedures
- An understanding of contractual compliance and project controls

Communicative and decisive, as a Finance Administrator, you will need strong problem-solving skills, an innovative approach and the ability to handle change. An excellent customer and commercial focus is also key.
