My client is an established and growing organisation based in Enfield currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Manager.

Reporting directly to the Financial Director you will be responsible for the following:

• Managing the AP function
• Managing new processes and a large team of AP Clerks
• Ensuring invoices are processed onto the AP system within agreed service levels
• Managing supplier’s payment runs
• Preparing and reviewing month end statement reconciliations
• Training and developing associates to ensure accurate and timely processing of all invoices for the business
• Managing all the staff expenses
• Assisting with external and internal audits
• Work closely with divisional Financial Controllers

Essentials:

• Current experience of an AP Manager role in an SME
• Supervisory & Management skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Understanding of bookkeeping
• Good level of numeracy
• Proven ability to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines
• Well organised
• Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Good communication skills
• Team player with good interpersonal skills
