Fast Moving Payroll Manager Role





Robert Half are currently working with an accomplished company who are looking to bring on the best Payroll Manager out there. This Global business are fast moving and fast growing.





The Role



The successful Payroll Manager must have a results oriented attitude and have experience running a team.



Our client is looking for someone who is open-minded to running a team and also being hands.



We are looking for someone who has strong experience in a managing and leading a team.





Key Responsibilities:

  • End to end processing of various payrolls, each with their own complexities.
  • Acting as the main point of contact with external payroll providers.
  • Review of externally prepared payroll files and reconciliation to inputs.
  • Preparation of payroll journals and month-end reconciliations.
  • Ensuring payment of payroll and payroll related taxes and other costs by relevant deadlines.
  • Administrative tasks - e.g. Payslips, year-end tax certificates and close monitoring of payroll mailboxes and action of items requiring attention.
  • Dealing queries from employees and external providers.
  • Responsible for monitoring various payroll allowances across regions.
  • Assisting with posting of ad hoc journals at month-end.






Job Requirements

  • Previous experience in payroll administration and accounting required.
  • High level of organisation due to the various elements involved
  • Demonstrates clear verbal and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates excellent organisational skills and efficient at multi-tasking with adjustable priorities.
  • Strong IT skills, with specific expertise using excel.
  • Initiative personality and "can do" attitude
  • Demonstrates commitment to quality in all aspects of work, despite a heavy workload and time pressures.
