Management Accountant - Part Qualified

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting a Part Qualified Management Accountant for a multi million pound business based in Sheffield.

THE JOB:

Reporting to the Financial Controller, duties will include, but not limited to:

Producing weekly and monthly management information
Providing and interpreting financial information relative to the operation; including multiple operational accruals, prepayments & balance sheet production.
Monitoring cost flows to identify future trends
Evaluating ways to cut costs and presenting viable options to the Financial Controller and General Manager
Managing budgets budgets and providing accurate information and costing; providing a detailed variance analysis breakdown against budget/forecast.
Ensuring all purchase orders and supplier invoices are logged and processed
Ensuring all data and information is kept confidential at all times
Ensuring all KPI reports are completed accurately and timely
Producing reports as required by the Financial Controller
Liaising with Financial Controller, General Managers and Customers in respect of financial information provision and analysis
Other ad hoc duties as required

THE PERSON;

Previous experience is essential
The successful candidate will be studying towards CIMA or ACCA
Advanced Excel experience is essential
Good analytical skills are required
You must be able to work in a fast paced, demanding, ever changing environment
You must have excellent communication skills and able to deal with employees at all levels
