Commercial Underwriter

Commercial Underwriter, Kent. Up to £35,000 with Excellent Benefits, Training and Development.

My client is a leading, well establish insurance Operation with an excellent reputation in the market for providing an exceptional service.

They are currently looking for someone with previous Commercial Underwriting experience to join their growing operation/team based in Kent.

Within this position you will work closely with a panel of brokers across the region, developing and supporting their business/customers.

Growing and developing your existing portfolio as well as developing new broker relationships to meet company/branch growth plans and objectives.

Underwriting a range of commercial risks across a broad industry spectrum which will include: Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, Construction, Motor Trade, etc.

Working within your own underwriting authority, referring cases above your limit where required.

Play a key role in the ongoing growth and development of the overall branch/regional growth and retention targets/objectives.

To apply you will need;
Previous experience in commercial underwriting/trading with brokers.

Strong communication and organisational skills coupled with the ability to build and develop excellent business relationships.

Ideally Cert CII qualified or progressing towards.
