The client is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a friendly and growing team at their offices in Witney.

Your tasks will include all aspects of accounting up to trial balance

To include:

  • Purchase ledger
  • Banking
  • Sales ledger
  • Set up direct debits
  • Credit control
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Process monthly payroll and staff expenses
  • Make payments to HMRC
  • Administer Pensions with Nest
  • Submit forms to HMRC for company cars
  • Enter manual journals
  • Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
  • Monthly reporting
  • General finance queries and liaising with Accountants
  • The Candidate for Book-keeper
  • Qualified AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
  • Strong analytical & numeracy skills with a high attention to detail
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively
  • Experience within a finance role
  • Experience with Xero or strong knowledge of other cloud based systems

16 -22 hours per week : Client can be flexible but you must be available to work all year
