The client is looking for a Part-Time Bookkeeper to join a friendly and growing team at their offices in Witney.
Your tasks will include all aspects of accounting up to trial balance
To include:
- Purchase ledger
- Banking
- Sales ledger
- Set up direct debits
- Credit control
- Bank reconciliations
- Process monthly payroll and staff expenses
- Make payments to HMRC
- Administer Pensions with Nest
- Submit forms to HMRC for company cars
- Enter manual journals
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Monthly reporting
- General finance queries and liaising with Accountants
- The Candidate for Book-keeper
- Qualified AAT Level 3 (or equivalent experience)
- Strong analytical & numeracy skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to organize and prioritize workload effectively
- Experience within a finance role
- Experience with Xero or strong knowledge of other cloud based systems
16 -22 hours per week : Client can be flexible but you must be available to work all year
