Personal Tax Senior Job Guildford Practice 45,000 ATT Qualified/Part Qual/QBE
Your new company
My client is a multi-disciplinary accountancy and business advisory practice operating in Guildford and London, with this role based in the Guildford office, providing personal tax services to a range of clients as part of the Tax Team.
Your new role
Your primary role will be to be responsible or the compliance function for a personal tax client portfolio, including but not limited to: preparing personal tax returns, monitoring returns to ensure they are submitted to HMRC is a timely fashion, advising clients on personal tax issues and liabilities due, preparing all documentations for client on boarding for HMRC registration, budgeting and billing client fees, reporting to the partner on all tax affairs of clients. You will also deal with queries as required on Income tax loss, EIS, SEIS, CGT, Trusts and estates income tax, BTL, preparation of small self employed accounts. You will also get the opportunity to identify tax planning opportunities and planning with the relevant tax partner e.g. inheritance tax planning.
What you'll need to succeed
You will be either ATT qualified, part-qualified, or qualified by experience with a minimum of 3 years experience in a Practice Firm within a personal tax role. You will have experience of managing clients and monitoring tax compliance. You will have excellent communication skills, both oral and written, to liaise with clients and Partners as necessary
What you'll get in return
You will receive a salary of up to £45,000 depending on experience, 20 days holiday with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days.
