Profit & Loss and Cost Analyst

Do you have proven experience within Financial reporting? Lacking challenge in your current role and want to use your commercial skills to their full potential? Euro Garages are looking for a Profit & Loss and Cost Analyst to join our Head Office team in Blackburn.
This is an exciting time to join the company as we have just begun construction on our brand new offices!
The Profit & Loss and Cost Analyst Role
In this role you will be required to ensure accurate treatment of income and expenditure in the P&L as well as accurate site by site P&L reporting. You will also assist the Financial Accounting and Reporting Manager in month end closing activities and involvement in various projects across the finance department. Duties include:
- Month end close and SFX reporting for P&L transactions
- Account reconciliations
- Cost accounting activity related to Month End Close
- DFX reporting for the Retail Operating Company in Germany
The Ideal Profit & Loss and Cost Analyst:
As our Profit & Loss and Cost Analyst, you will be a qualified or graduate Accountant (ACCA/ACA), with a strong commercial awareness focusing on adding value. You will also have strong attention to detail and proven experience within a similar role. SAP knowledge and knowledge of IFRS and German GAAP would also be beneficial.
