Our client is an established regional financial services provider and with ambitious and exciting plans to build its customer base and brand awareness are looking to recruit a new Head of Product Design and Marketing. This role will be pivotal to the business achieving its growth ambitions and will play a lead role in communicating the products and services to new and existing customers.
Key duties & responsibilities:
• Develop an effective product strategy through understanding trends in the market place.
• Lead the development of market share through the design and launch of new.
• Prepare product related MI and activity reports for the Product Committee, Executive team and Board of Directors
• Develop and implement the Society’s marketing strategy and marketing plan, subject to Board approval and within the Marketing Operations budget.
• Be responsible for the design and content of the Society’s website and to develop the Society’s Social media capability.
• Lead and build the deployment of marketing campaigns to achieve all agreed business objectives. Produce and maintain detailed analysis of the member profile and new member prospects.
• Manage relationships with marketing agencies and other third parties, to ensure that all activity is aligned, approved, timely and within budget.
• Be market aware and identify and interpret relevant competitor activity and share with the team/business and understand product and marketing developments and their relevance for Chorley and its plans and activities.
• Discharge and comply with your regulatory responsibilities of any regulatory authority which is relevant to your role and/or to the Society including, but not limited to, the provisions of all regulations arising from the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (the “Act”).
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with significant experience in designing financial services products. Ideally this experience will sit within mortgages, however our client is open to other financial sectors.
You will be assisting the marketing strategy and helping to shape products, you will be devising & controlling strategy and managing the products yourself.
