Management Accountant, Watford, Permanent, £35,000-£45,000 per annum + Benefits
Our client is a very well established and reputable business based in the heart of Watford. This client is recognizable by all within the industry as a market leader within their chosen field. This role has come about due to expansion of their team, providing the scope for the chosen candidate shape and mould the role in whatever way they may seem fit. The suitable individual will be allowed full responsibility of the management accounting function. Upon proving successful within the role, there would be a clear path of progression to a managerial role within the finance function.
Duties would include owning the following:
•The entire monthly Management accounting procedure
•Annual statutory accounts
•Validation of balance sheet accounts
•Inter-company reconciliations, income and fixed assets
•Maintenance of sub ledger records
•Reconciliation of restricted funds
•Preparation of Periodic tax returns
•Assist with P&Ls, expenditure forecasts, cash flow forecasts
•Budget preparation
•Quarterly VAT returns, balance sheet schedules and partner performance analysis
•Presentation of management accounts to senior partners
•Overseeing the transactional team of 4
•Ad-Hoc queries
The ideal candidate would someone who is keen to make their mark in a high calibre business. This client is offering an opportunity within a company that will provide a quality of work that is rarely found outside the remit of Central London, with a friendly and approachable finance team.
