Assistant Finance Manager

Page Personnel are currently working alongside a national brand to place an Assistant Finance Manager into the busy accounts and finance department. Reporting into the Financial Controller, the successful candidate will assist with the consolidation of head office management accounts and support the transactional team.

Description

The Assistant Finance Manager will be responsible for:

- Consolidation of month end management accounts
- Overseeing purchase and sales ledgers and ensuring financial records are accurate
- Cashflow forecasting
- Balance sheet reconciliations
- Analysis of financial data
- Complete management accounting reports on a weekly, monthly and yearly basis
- Budget preparation and sales forecasting
- Supervising the accounts team and ledger clerks
- Quarterly VAT returns
- Ad hoc finance duties, i.e. assist external auditors, improve systems etc

Profile

The Assistant Finance Manager will be:

• CIMA or ACCA part qualified or qualified by experience
• Knowledge of management accounts at head office and auditing processes
• Strong Excel skills and ability to handle large amounts of data
• Ability to lead and supervise a team
