This is a permanent tax accountant position within a global FMCG brand in Uxbridge. My client boasts a large portfolio of instantly recognisable products.

The position will be suitable for a part-qualified accountant who's familiar with tax processes within a large matrix organisation.

My client is a large FMCG business, they operate globally and boast a wide variety of brands & products.

Description

The role of Tax Accountant is a fantastic opportunity to join an expanding FMCG business. As a key resource of the Northern Europe Finance function, the role will support the transfer price based tax models across the geography and statutory compliance in four European countries.

Additionally, internal tax reporting to the European and Global tax teams will be an integral part of the role. A key aspect of this role will be to take responsibility for the review, sign off and submission of VAT and Intrastat returns throughout the region.

Profile

Qualifications/Skills/Experience/Temperament

  • Part qualified (CIMA/ACCA). Taxation qualifications would be considered.
  • At least two years experience working in the tax department of a multi-national
  • Some ERP experience ideally SAP
  • A working appreciation of transfer pricing
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Experience of working in a multi-site environment
  • Ability to manage conflicting priorities

  • Analytical with an attention to detail, high levels of accuracy
  • Ability higher responsibility for tasks when departmental workloads dictate to critically review, challenge and improve business processes and ways of working
