Fund of Funds Investment Professional, Family Office, Dubai, UAE

Our client is looking for an Investment Professional to join their private equity fund of funds team based in Dubai. This is a successful, well-funded, investment group with an institutional ethos. The team has an active pipeline of new potential investments and existing investments in high profile private equity funds, including real estate funds. They are looking to expand by bringing on board an additional investment professional with a relevant background in private equity fund manager selection.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Working within the fund of funds team, undertaking both quantitative and qualitative investigation and evaluation of the prospects of specific private equity funds
• Undertaking bottom-up and fundamental research of the underlying macroeconomic environment, identifying potential risks behind each opportunity
• Developing new relationships with potential fund managers to source private equity and real estate fund and co-investment opportunities
• Monitoring fund investments and attending investor meetings
• Maintaining excellent relationships with managers of the firm's existing fund investments and the firm's advisory partners

YOUR PROFILE:

• Essential to have experience of working within a private equity fund of funds team, either in an investment firm or an advisory firm
• Previous experience in private equity manager selection, analysing funds and fund monitoring
• Experience of investing into European and / or North American private equity funds is preferred
• Strong quantitative and qualitative skills
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a team environment
• Candidates must be fluent in English (both written and spoken)
• A high levels of both discretion and integrity
