Job Title: Payroll and HR Coordinator
Location: Verwood
Salary: £22k - £27k DOE

This is an exciting opportunity for a Payroll and HR Coordinator join a fun and energetic company filled with enthusiastic and talented people.

Key Responsibilities:

The main object of this position is to prepare and process the monthly payroll. Working closely with the HR Manager you will also support and deal with the administration for the whole HR Process.

Payroll

  • Prepare and process monthly payroll
  • Produce payslips
  • HMRC on-line Gateway engagement, preparation of P11d forms, other Statutory Returns
  • Set up new employees onto an in-house system
  • Generate all monthly payroll reports
  • Submit pension contributions/deductions into AEGON's Smart Enrol platform

HR/Administration

  • To provide efficient and effective administrative support to the HR Manager, ensuring confidentiality is adhered to at all times.
  • Prepare all HR documentation i.e. Job Descriptions, recruitment, probation and disciplinary related letters.
  • Take minutes and record formal meetings.
  • Support the HR manager with the administration of all employee benefits.
  • To administer new starter documentation ensuring compliance to the starter process
  • Maintain all personnel records and filing system to ensure ISO compliance, including archiving personal files in compliance with current Data Protection Storage Regulations.
  • Preparing notices and announcements as required.
  • Responsible for HR related communications via company intranet.
  • Promote workforce engagement in line with our shared culture and values.
  • Co-ordinate monthly Employee Forum, suggestion schemes and employee rewards.
  • Car fleet management

Skills and qualities required

  • HR and/or Payroll experience essential
  • CIPD qualified to level 3 or above essential
  • Intermediate Excel
  • Able to work to tight deadlines, therefore flexibility is essential.
  • Good working knowledge of all other MS packages i.e. PowerPoint and Word
  • A pro-active approach, a 'can do' attitude with attention to detail
  • A self-starter who can work on own initiative but also as part of a team
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to develop good working relationships
  • Willingness to undertake further training as deemed appropriate
