A global based in Watford is seeking a Group Tax Manager to take control of the group's tax compliance requirements. With a strong culture and excellent international offerings, this would be a great first step out of practice, or a move from a managerial role.
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of the UK corporate tax compliance
- Maintain an oversight of the group's tax position, working with senior management on assessing tax risk and strategy.
- Provide sound advise across the group on the tax impacts of current and future legislation
- Preparation of half yearly and yearly tax reporting disclosures.
Requirements:
- ACA/CTA/ACCA or equivalent with post qualified experience either within practice or industry
- Proven knowledge of corporate tax compliance, VAT experience and tax advisory work would be beneficial but not required
- Gravitas and confidence, personable and ability to communicate tax matters in laymen terms
