Your new company
Your new company is based in the centre of Wigan and are recognised as pioneers in bringing about beneficial change to people's lives. They are firmly established and recognised within the North West and are currently looking for the right candidate to join their business during a very exciting time.

Your new role
You will be reporting into the company Accountant and liaising with numerous other departments. You will be responsible for assisting in the preparation of the monthly management accounts and day to day management accounting responsibilities including month end processes. You will also prepare the daily bank reconciliation for all accounts including posting transactions within the cashbook, dealing with large numbers of daily transactions, investigating any queries or unidentified transactions. You will also be responsible for the company balance sheet and assist with the preparation of quarterly VAT returns. Full job description is available. Due to the nature of the business there will be the occasional need for evening and weekend work.

What you'll need to succeed
You will have experience in a similar role and will need to have good Excel as well as having excellent written and verbal communication skills. You will be driven and motivated to succeed and work alongside a driven finance team in a fast paced working environment. You will ideally either be immediately available to start on a short notice period and able to start immediately.
