Assistant Accountant

Your new company
You will be joining a large listed manufacturing company based just outside of Birmingham City Centre that has a real SME feel to their team as they have a very close and tight knit culture.

Your new role
You role will be to work on a lot of month end procedures by providing support to the Accountant and the Financial Controller. You will be preparing reports, monthly balance sheets, journals to the GL, contribute to the annual budget and monthly forecasting processes.

What you'll need to succeed
You will need to be a graduate, someone that is currently in the early stages of CIMA would be ideal. You will be someone that isn't afraid of rolling up your sleeves and getting your hands dirty and make a real difference to the team by being engaged and lively. You will have some accounts experience, the more the better, experience in month end procedures would be ideal and if you have used SAP that would be preferential.

What you'll get in return
For a junior position you will be very favourably remunerated between £22,000 - £24,000 plus a fantastic benefits package which includes full study support for CIMA. 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays and a company pension.
