Short term, good pay.
Yes, it’s only 4 weeks and we know that’s not ideal. That’s why they are prepared to pay you a decent hourly rate, better than your average payroll position. It’s covering sickness, so who knows, it may go on longer but that’s not guaranteed – the person has been signed off for 4 weeks.
They use Sage Payroll and they’ve no time to train you to use it. You’ll be working on your own. Althought the FD is there, she’s busy, so it would be better if you could find answers to queries. That said, there shouldn’t be many queries as it’s a fairly small payroll for 100 monthly paid staff, but they do have differing rates of pay and timesheets to collate.
