The role is working in the Financial Planning & Analysis team, working alongside the FP&A Manager & the Senior Financial Analyst. The business is going through a period of growth and so this role offers a great opportunity for the successful individual to rapidly develop their skills and expand on their experience.
Key Aspects of the role:
• Transforming large volumes of data into insightful Management Information to facilitate appropriate decision making.
• Preparing financial information for the FP&A team and Group Finance Director
• Assisting in the implementation of 'best practice’ processes and developing a culture of robust financial control
• Assisting the Divisional Management Accountant to produce Long Range Plans, Annual Budgets and both quarterly and monthly Forecasts
• Supporting the implementation of new systems, processes and reporting
• Owning cost centre P&L’s within the division
• Building and maintaining the monthly suite of FP&A reports
• Assisting the review of month-end accounts and prepare accruals as appropriate
• Supporting the Head of FP&A with ad-hoc tasks and projects as required
The successful applicant will be currently studying or commencing an accountancy qualification (CIMA / ACCA) and have advanced Excel skills. You should be highly analytical and inquisitive, with the ability to effectively manage time and multitask. Previous experience in an analytical role would be highly advantageous and hands-on Management Accounts experience is essential. This role would suit a confident, friendly communicator with strong interpersonal skills and a keen ambition to develop themselves
