Trainee Insurance Claims Handler

Your main responsibilities after initial training will be:
Taking responsibility for your own case load
Ensure that allocated claims are fully investigated.
Acting as the key contact for specific customers / brokers
Communicate with policyholders, solicitors and others by telephone and in writing
Identify opportunities to make recoveries and follow the recovery through
Maintain accurate estimates on outstanding claims so the appropriate reserve can be made for each claim.
Work within the team to ensure that all claims are settled within appropriate time scales
Work flexibly within the team, assisting colleagues wherever pressure is greatest to enhance overall team performance
What they are looking for:
5 GCSE passes (A-C grade) and A Levels or Degree considered
Some office or retail customer service is preferred but not essential
Well organised with attention to details
Good team player and rapport builder
Salary & Benefits:
£15,500 + £1K bonus after 3 month probation + Annual Bonus
Full, comprehensive training
Contributory Pension
22 days holiday and annual pay reviews
Car Parking available
9am – 5pm Monday – Friday
Full training provided with 6 monthly reviews / bonuses
