My client is a well regarded business within the automotive sector, based in Loughborough, Leicestershire.
Due to expansion they now have a vacancy for an experienced Sales Ledger and Credit Controller.
Reporting into the finance manager, this busy and varied role will include:
* Management of a ledger of around 400 active accounts with balances ranging from £500 - £25,000
* Chasing via email and telephone, resolving queries and delaying payments
* Issuing credit notes, sending statements and copy invoices
* Allocation of incoming payments and reconciliation
* Creation of aged debtor reports
* Ad hoc duties as requested at month and year end
Applicants will ideally have previous accounting / credit control experience and be happy working within a busy, fast paced environment.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key to this position as 70% of your time will be spent on the telephone to customers.
