Well known family run retail business with its head office in Manchester City Centre requires a Payroll Clerk for thier growing team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller duties will include:
Dealing with any queries from sites regarding use of the payroll system. Queries will range from issues with adding new starters, to holiday queries, leavers for example
Ensuring sites close off rotas strictly each week, chasing where necessary.
Submitting final rotas at month end.
Inputting wage advances at the month end.
Ensure timely processing of payroll, working with the HR Manager to deliver pay on time.
Follow up any site queries and communicating back to reporting line and sites.
Maintain and accurate and reports and recording and documenting queries.
HR administration skills including letter writing, reference writing, onboarding support, eligibility documentation, and any other HR support required.
The right candidate in for this role will have at least 12 months experience of payroll administration and will be looking for a role in a growing business.
In return an excellent rate of pay is offered along with development and progression
