My highly successful client with a national office presence is looking to recruit an experienced Management Accountant for their North Birmingham office.
Main Job role -
To report directly to Financial Director, producing timely and accurate management information for the Group, consolidation of budgets and forecasting, also preparation of statutory accounts , assisting with year end processes, performing key reconciliation tasks.
Management Reporting Duties -
Producing monthly consolidated management reports in preset timeframes from Finance Director. Review and analysis of inputs to the reports.
Variance analysis and commentary in support of said reports.
Consolidate yearly budget, including long term cash flow planning/ forecast information.
Lead, develop and support Accounts Manager to manage Accounts Team.
Other ad hoc duties as required.
Year End-
Assist with year end accounts preparation, liaise with auditors with respect to this.
Essential Skills / Experience -
Minimum of 5 years accounting experience in a busy, tightly run business, including working on monthly reporting, yearly budget preparations, cash flow and statutory accounts.
Highly skilled in Microsoft Office.
Extensive experience of computerised accounting systems.
Demonstrate experience of implementing new accounts systems.
Strong spreadsheet manipulation skills and aptitude for Excel.
Ability to deliver accurate reports and work to deadlines.
High standard of written and verbal communication.
Qualifications-
Qualified Accountant from CCAB recognised bodies - ACCA, CIMA , ACA etc. ( or equivalent)
