Meeting and Event Supervisor - Clayton Hotel Galway, Ballybrit, Co. Galway We have a fantastic new vacancy in our Meeting and EventsTeam in the excellent Clayton Hotel Galway. The fast paced role of Meeting and Events Supervisor presents excellent training and succession opportunities in the renowned Clayton Hotel Galway. Objective of the Role Reporting to the Meeting & Events Manager, will lead the operational success of the Meeting & Events function. An ability to deliver and execute to tight dealines with great care and a high level of attention consistently is required in the role whilst motivating and leading the team. Key Duties and Responsibilities Prepare rooms and general areas to the Dalata standard. Highlight any items or areas that need maintenance Communicating excellent knowledge of the hotel products, facilities & services, highlighting unique selling points & advantages to secure sales Provide accurate information to operational teams to provide excellent guest service To work as part of the Team, being aware of colleagues and their needs, and being flexible at all times to the requests of management To promote sales within the department and across the hotel To report any guests complaints or problems to a member of the Management team or Duty Manager. Report for duty clean and tidy, wearing the correct uniform as per Company Uniform & Grooming policy and ensuring your name badge is worn at all times whilst on duty along with any Safety Shoes or Personal protective equipment. To have pride and commitment in your area of work. Be open for work in other departments. Requirements: Experience in a Meeting and Events role in a leading hotel. Experience in large conferences and events is a distinct advantage. Excellent Leadership skills. Strong Organisational skills High standards and attention to detail.
