Financial Accountant - Finalist

ABOUT THE ROLE: Due to team restructuring and internal progression, a 6-month contract role has arisen with a leading Irish IT company for a Part Qualified Final Accountant to join their team. This role sits in the Group Function and will get exposure to both Irish and UK entities. Reporting to the Senior Corporate Accountant, this role will have exposure to the following: Group month end close and tax calculations; Inter-company and balance sheet reconciliations; Ongoing review of Group asset balances; Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for audit purposes, and; Assisting Business Partners as required with ad-hoc projects. "We are going through huge growth at the minute, and this position has come about due to internal restructuring. This role will support Senior Management in their responsibilities and take ownership of certain tasks. We are looking for someone who is driven, ambitious and wants to succeed. While this is a contract position, we have been going through exponential growth over the past few years. 6 months is a long time - who knows what might happen?" - Group Financial Controller ABOUT THE PERSON: Group exposure advantageous; Proven ability of working as part of a team, with the confidence to approach Senior Management; Experience of working in a fast-paced, multi-currency environment essential; Advanced Excel skills (v and h look ups, pivot tables, macros, etc.), and; Must be a self-starter with strong attention to detail.
