Indirect Tax Senior Manager

Due to continued growth, RSM Ireland are recruiting a new role of Indirect Tax Manager/Senior Manager. The successful candidate should have excellent VAT technical knowledge and a strong commercial focus. The role is based in the firm's Dublin office and will entail working as part of a multidisciplinary team to serve a diverse range of clients operating both domestically and internationally. The role is suitable for an ambitious entrepreneurial individual, as it is expected the successful candidate will play a lead role in the growth of the firms' indirect tax service offering. The VAT Manager role will encompass: Work with partners and directors to develop and grow the firm's indirect tax service offering; Advise on indirect tax aspects of advisory projects, covering domestic and international projects; Provide detailed research on technical VAT issues and leadership on indirect tax matters; Work closely with indirect tax leaders within the RSM network, which will entail travel to attend network tax conferences in the UK and Europe; Develop indirect tax expertise of junior team members;tandard of client service; Commercial management of a portfolio of clients. The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience: Qualified tax advisor with a minimum of 4 years working in an indirect tax role in a top 10 Irish firm; Strong commercial, communication and organisational skills; Strong academic record; Building and maintaining relationships with clients and providing a high s In depth knowledge of the VAT on property regime is essential; A proven ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure that deadlines are consistently met.
