Description
This is a fantastic opportunity to business partner with senior management supporting all their financial and commercial decisions to help shape both the operational and strategic decisions of a key business unit.
You'll be an important member of the Commercial Finance team - responsible for financial analysis and planning, providing commercial business support to functional business heads.
You'll take responsibility for preparing the monthly Income Statements, variance analysis as well as preparing operational budgets and forecasts, margin and profitability analysis.
A key part of this role is improving processes and implementing best practice across planning and reporting - The business is undergoing a large scale Hyperion system implementation of which you'll be heavily involved
Profile
We're looking for a commercially minded Finance Business Partner who's comfortable working with a variety of stakeholders - someone who excels at explaining finance to non-finance staff.
You'll need to be fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA) with some experience gained in industry in a similar role.
You're the type of person who thrives in a challenging environment and relishes the opportunity to shape the key decisions a business makes.
You'll have demonstrable experience of process improvement with great examples of how you used your initiative to deliver change, bring people with you and improve financial reporting and modelling.
Ideally, you'll have worked in the manufacturing industry for a global business.
