Finance Account Assistant

Finance Account Assistant; based in Preston; 12 month contract, £11.31 PAYE per hour

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated individual to work within a high performing financial accounting team within the Europe & International business in within a large aerospace company based in Preston.

Duties will involve:
- Timely and accurate raising of multi-currency invoices on an aircraft programme
- Maintenance of invoice registers and other supporting information.
- Understanding foreign currency treatments of invoices
- Liaising with key stakeholders in the business
- Monthly reconciliation and support to balance sheet review process
- General admin as required

We are looking for a numerate, well organised individual with a keen attention to detail to provide backfill for key team members whilst they support an ERP implementation. The successful candidate will have GCSEs in Maths & English or equivalent and have excellent Excel skills along with good Word and Outlook skills. Good communication, team working and motivation skills are essential. Knowledge of SAP/BaaN or equivalent would be an advantage.
